The Ghost of Bully Burnes is not a ghost story but the story about a real, live bully known and feared by all the kids at school. His biggest goal in life is to become 'king of the highway' on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. To get the money to achieve that goal he robs garages with the help of a gang of boys he has bullied into obeying him blindly. His method, 'The Gobby Burnes System', as he calls it, is working very well - until Toby, the best friend of one of the boys in Bully's gang, learns of the shocking situation his friend is in and promises to help him. It's the beginning of a classic David and Goliath struggle.
